Sad new folks – early this morning there was an unplanned fire at NIMBY.
NIMBY is the industrial arts space where my shop as been for the past two years. I say has because I had recently moved out of NIMBY and into a new workspace a few blocks away.
I was not going to post about the fire by word has already gone out and the press are on it already reporting it.
The fire was directly above where my shop had been but as I said all my art and equipment were already gone.
No one was hurt.
The fire department put the fire out but also noted a wide rage of code violations as they were leaving.
From what I’ve heard NIMBY is locked down pending a full fire saftey inspection.
Ack.
