Hello all –
First off, I’m sorry if anyone had any technical problems with the Almost Scientific blog over the past few weeks. Apparently it was hacked and had a dozen or so malware links in the footer.php file. It took some time to root out the problem and install some new preventative measures, and then it took even longer to get off Googles dangerous sites list. We should be running smooth from here on in.
Second, sorry for the silence this past month. I came back from Ireland and started right away at my new position as a post doctoral fellow at the Exploratorium. It’s an amazing job that give me free range to explore my interests at the boundaries between art and science. I’ve not posted because I’ve been really focused on developing a hand full of projects that I want to move forward over the next year. I’ll start posting about each of these in more detail over the next week or two.
There’s going to be allot going on over the coming months including rockets, bridges, viruses, plasma cannons, self-replicating machines and maybe even a lamp (if I get the time), so stay tuned.
Hat’s off. Well done, as we know that “Hard work always pays off”, after a long struggle with sincere efforts it’s done.
