This is the initial concept sketch for the piece that I’m working on for the Edwardian Ball. They wanted a small, mechanical “time travel” device in the Steam Punk aesthetic. This drawing shows two copper hemispheres which will rotate in opposite direction (into and out of the page in this drawing) and also open horizontally (left and right in this drawing) to reveal tray .
