The Neuron Chamber – Fabracation Photos 1

{set 1 Set 2 Set 3 }

So I was way too deep in some grinder-dust induced madness to post photos of The Neuron Chamber while we were fabricating it but now that I have emerged from the dark of NIMBY, re-interfaced with my computer and dusted off the camera I’ve started to go though the photos I took.

I’ll post them in a few sets so you can get that art-in-real-time effect that I know you love

Me. Resting in the chamber.

That’s our electrical wizard David Shulman luring me out of the chamber with talk of relays.

Here are some of the components for the chamber. You can see the triangular box that became the interface panel on the left, one the the neurons motor/sprocket assemblies in the middle; it’s flanked by a set of the ports that went on the hemispheres; on the bottom are two fantastic pieces Ben made that never made it on the final build.

One of the legs — not 100% complete but looking really hot.

Here is a shot from when we first got the caps for the access ports on and got one of the first axons in temporarily

Here you can see the three axons in the chamber for the first time. The one on the bottom is only partly built.
