I’ve been a fan of Jonathan Harris for some time now without ever knowing his name. He is the very clever and imaginative mind who built (with some help I believe) We Feel Fine, which is one of my favorite instances of data visualization, a subject I’ve posted about before.
If I liked writing computer code more then I do I would explore this type of work myself (instead, I’ll just encourage other by pointing them towards this). But I was really inspired by the Whale Hunt project he discusses in the video bellow. I’ve wanted to do something similar in photographing the fabrication of sculptures.
